GENERAL QUESTIONS

First thing you have to do is to Register – click the Join Us button and go through the registration process. You will need to submit a Proof of address and a Proof of ID (Passport). Once you are registered you will be able to enter the phone number and receive a confirmation SMS.

It depends on the different bank processing times. Some SEPA transactions are instant, and others can take up to 1-3 business days.

IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number, it is an internationally agreed system of identifying bank accounts across national borders. It contains up to 34 letter and numbers and helps the bank to process global transfers.

SEPA (Single Euro Payment Area) payment is a payment within Europe in euro currency. IIZIPAY card holders can receive and make euro SEPA payments.

TRANSFER

You can pay to anyone in the Euro-zone that provides you with their IBAN and name. Simply hit the payments button on the app.

PAYING WITH YOUR CARD

Everywhere you see the Mastercard/VISA logo, online or in a shop.

If you have used a debit or credit card before, you will know what to do, as the process is the same: give the cashier/ merchant your card or put the card into the terminal when requested and enter your 4 digit pin number. Please ensure you have sufficient funds in the account plus any applicable fees related to the transaction.
If you are using your card for an online purchase, you will have to enter your card information and some personal details, then follow the on-screen instructions.

WITHDRAWING CASH

You can withdraw funds from the IIZIPAY Prepaid card at over 2.6 million ATMs worldwide, where you see the Mastercard/VISA logo.

Login to app – the balance is shown on top right corner of the home page.

CARD ACCOUNT LOADING AND PAYMENTS

You can make online purchases worldwide. All online purchases are secured against fraud with the Mastercard/VISA 3D secure system.

You can manage the IIZIPAY Prepaid Card via the app, topping up the card via a bank transfer.

SECURITY

The following are needed:

  • A valid passport, driving licence or identity card
  • A bank statement or a utility bill issues within the last 3 months which confirms your address
  • A proof of enrolment from your university (if you’re a student living abroad)

For legal purposes we need to verify the information you provided at the application stage against your documentation.

It will take up to 6-12 working days to get your IIZIPAY Prepaid Card delivered to your home address.

You can block your card within the app or e-mail us on support@iizipay.org and we will help you.

Yes. If you lose your card, you will need to pay the ‘Get the card’-fee again.

You can contact our customer support service in the app and we will send you a replacement.

There are two different PIN codes—your Confirmation PIN and your Card PIN.

Your Confirmation PIN (mobile app) is used to confirm all actions made within the app, such as transfers, password changes, etc. You set it up from the app when you register your smartphone for the first time.

You can change it from My Account > Credential settings > PIN > Change your PIN > OK

Your Card PIN is used to make withdrawals and pay in shops with your card. You get it over the phone once you receive your card by post.

You can get a Pin Reminder from app: Card > Pin Reminder > Submit.

You can also use ATMs to change your PIN number.
